New stuff & a holiday

That special time of the year has come when I get to choose a new mobile phone! I picked the Sony Ericsson K750i- It’s a very nice little number. Plus the o2 people decided to offer me a good deal on my contract- 1000 texts and 400 anytime/network minutes a month- thats an extra 500 texts and my minutes now anytime for an extra fiver- Love it!

Im off this week on half term from bible college- with all my essays handed in on friday this is a week for pure relaxation! Was up the north coast at the beginning of the week with Stu and Lois was nice to get a scenery change and spend time with amazing friends.

Ah bless...

I was taking an assembly in a school in Belfast this morning… I decided to use some pictures from Ukraine and Moldova as part of my talk. One wee boy in P.1 started crying during it; when his teacher asked him why he was crying he replied “I’m crying because the pictures are making me feel sad inside” - Bless his wee cotton socks!

Who thought about the children?

For some reason the church thought it would be a good idea to ask me to teach an R.E lesson in the primary school every Tuesday morning. Today was my 2nd week of class. I’m enjoying it more than I thought I would. We’re looking at Joseph [slightly annoying having 3 church kids in the class as they know it all!] One of the kids at the start said “this is rubbish I don’t want to do it” by the end he was loving it and asked his teacher if next time if Miss Kirk could take them for 2 hours! Always good to hear those kind of comments! I still ask myself though... Who thought about the children?!

For all o2 Customers

Due to my boredom at work yesterday I discovered the 'o2 treat' on the o2 website. If you are with o2: pay as you go or contract ring 2211 free from your handset you will be given the choice of either free texts or free calls every month for 3 months. o2 will notify you after the 3 months is up and you simply ring up and register for another treat- Bargin! I got 20 free anytime any network minutes- Love it! Only catch is you have to have been a o2 customer for 6 months or more. Enjoy my o2 friends... enjoy.
