50 Feet from Coldplay!

The Coldplay concert was FAN-FREAKN-TASTIC! As you can see from the picture we were but 50 feet from the stage! We [Stu, dave, drew and myself] arrived down in good time had a nosey round and joined the end of the que and very surprisingly ended up getting passes to the pit at the very front of the stage. The first warm up band were good enough but the second one Interpol were rubbish the best thing about them was they wore suits on stage! There was 20,000 people there the biggest crowd to date Coldplay have played to- It was in a big open park on the south side of Dublin. We had the scientist, clocks, In my place, yellow, til kingdom come, daylight [To which Chris Martin forgot the words- TWICE] swallowed in the sea and fix you to name a few- The band played for a good hour and a half. The sun was shining, the craic was mighty and worries were none. Here�s to eating lots of ice creams like you�re a kid on holiday, good friends, singing along with 20,000 people to yellow, getting jumped on my a half drunk/naked Irish man and hearing clocks live- Truly immense is how ill sum up the day.
